Are You Interested in Becoming a NJ Real Estate Salesperson or Broker?
The Real Estate Success Institute offers both Salesperson Pre-Licensing and Broker Candidate courses. Students who are seeking a Salesperson Real Estate License will be provided with an exceptional education in the essentials of New Jersey real estate transactions. *The Salesperson pre-licensure course includes 75 hours of instruction. Already licensed real estate salespersons, who are interested in obtaining a Broker license, will obtain a thorough education in all real estate matters, including professional ethics and office management. *The entire Broker Candidate course, which is made up of 3 components, includes 150 hours of instruction. The Broker Candidate course accounts for ALL Continuing Education requirements for the current license term.
Those who successfully complete all course requirements, which include obtaining a passing grade on the school final exam, will receive a certificate of eligibility for taking the State examination. Registration is on-going and a variety of schedules are available throughout the year. Typical schedule options are as follows:

30 HOUR AGENCY & ETHICS COURSE FOR BROKER CANDIDATES

CONTINUING EDUCATION
New rules in the State of New Jersey require continuing education for all licensed real estate agents each licensing term. Licensed real estate agents must complete 12 credits of continuing education between July 1, 2017 and April 30, 2019. Six credits must come from core courses, two of which must be ethics. The remaining six credits may be core or elective credits.

There are a number of eligibility requirements for Licensure as a NJ Real Estate Salesperson & NJ Real Estate Broker.
Salesperson License
In addition the Real Estate Commission must be satisfied as to the applicant's honesty, trustworthiness, character and integrity.
If an applicant has ever been convicted of a crime, or is currently on parole or probation their application for a real estate license may be denied.

Broker License
Applicants must pass the broker license examination and apply for and request the issuance of a license as a broker or broker-salesperson not later than one year after their successful completion of the broker pre-licensure education requirements.
